I Will Give You 5 good Reasons Why You Should Move more:-
1) Get More Of Oxygen!
Sit,Talk,Eat,Sleep..... we inhale oxygen........ but when we move & when we do any type of physical activity(Exercise) we do get an additional dose of oxygen.
As we all know oxygen is a necessary ingredient to survive!
Oxygen plays an important role in the energy metabolism of living organisms.
The living cell is the site of tremendous biochemical activity called "Metabolism".
This is the process of chemical and physical change which goes on continually in the human body: build-up of new tissue, replacement of old tissue, conversion of food to energy, disposal of waste materials, reproduction etc - all the activities that we characterize as "life"!
"Metabolsim" heard this word? Yes, It helps in "Weight Loss"! I mean Higher the metabolism, higher your chances of losing weight (Being Healthy)!
Apart from helping in keeping your metabolism active, oxygen also helps in blood circulation!
Want to Get a glowing skin, hair? Yes? Then, Get more oxygen, get more exercise in your life!
More blood circulation means all the organs receive proper blood which will help them to function better!
Note: I don't mean, people who want to gain weight ....Don't need oxygen!:D
2) Sweat More!
As we all know when we do any form of exercise like walking,jogging,running,jumping etc ..We "Sweat"!
Our Body is filled with different type of hormones! (Hormone- It's a chemical released by a cell/gland of the body that sends out messages that affects cells in the other parts of the body.)
Heard of "Endorphins"? Endorphins are the body's natural feel good chemicals , and when they are released through exercise, your mood is boosted naturally! With "Endorphins" exercise also releases adrenaline, serotonin and dopamine (Hormones)! These chemicals work together to make you feel good. "Endorphins" - the natural painkiller can produce feelings of euphoria and a general state of well - being.
Feeling Low? Mood swings? Angry? Depressed? Go Exercise!
3) Use It Or Lose It!
Swimming after ages, you will find it difficult to practice ! Similarly, driving a new car after years, you will lose the practice and won't be able to drive efficiently!
In the Same way, If a person doesn't exercise his/her physical body, he/she will likely lose "Strength","Endurance" & "Stamina"!
Like a machine gets rust , when we don't use it for a longer period of time , in the same way, if we don't use our joints and muscles frequently ,it will rust!
Make it a point to exercise daily for atleast 30 mins!
4) Sleep Better!
Trouble Sleeping? Chances are you don't exercise!
Sleep is brought on by chemicals released in your body. These chemicals are a by product of your body burning sugar for fuel during the day. The more sugar you burn ( the more active you are:)) the more of these chemicals are released, helping you sleep better and deeper!
However, some people find exercise stimulating and have trouble sleeping if they exercise too late in the day, so time your exercise for maximum benefits!
5) Burn Energy (Calories)!
Obviously moving more ie exercising burns calories, everyone knows, but how does it burn?
Taking in more oxygen we pace up our metabolism which helps in burning calories(as explained earlier)!
The body uses fat and carbohydrate(Sugar) for fuel. A small amount of protein is used during exercise, but it's mainly used to repair the muscles after exercise.
The ratio of these fuels will depend on the activity you do. For high intensity exercise, such as fast paced running, the body will rely more on carbohydrate for fuel than fat. That's because the metabolic pathways available to break down carbohydrate for energy are more efficient than the pathways available for fat breakdown.
For long, slower exercise ,fat is used for more energy than carbohydrate.
When it comes to weight loss, it doesn't matter what type of fuel you use, what matters is how many calories you burn as opposed to how many calories you take in!
